Screaming in agany is senior, Shaun Schroader with the help of his fraternity brother Grant Fuller as they pull in a game of tug of war in the thick mud at the agriculture farm in Bowling Green, Ky. Schroader, of Ohio County and Fuller, Louisville of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity participate in the second annual tug competition. Lambda Chi had a record or 2-1 losing to Farm House fraternity in the championship round.

In April 2017, CBMM announced its next major shipyard project—a restoration of the 1912 tug Delaware, which is now underway in the Shipyard. The restoration will begin with lofting this winter—following the launch of the 1889 bugeye Edna E. Lockwood in October 2018—and start in earnest in January 2019. The tug "California" works the bow of the "M/V Federal Yukon" as she departs Lorain, OH, while the "Iowa" works the stern. Built between 1915 and 1916, these tugs are pretty powerful workhorses.
The tug Ann Marie of Frankfort, MI is docked in the Union Ship Canal in Lackawanna, NY. The tug is owned by Luedtke Engineering who are currently working on rebuilding the brekawalls off Buffalo, NY that were damaged during severe storms over the last year.
