I've been slowly working on the doll trunk! This past weekend I made a lot of progress. All of the drawers are finished, painted and lined with paper!
Now all that's left is a bar for hanging things on the right, and possibly some "spackle" (probably some acrylic modeling paste) to seal up the edges of the foamcore structure :)
(Help, the dolls are multiplying! Unoas are addictive T^T Just ordered a Roron cool face for the M-line body, since I decided I liked Sist better on the A-line)

Here is a small clip from a larger view of IC 1396 in the constellation Cepheus called the Elephant Trunk Nebula. The Elephant Trunk Nebula is about 2,400 light years from Earth and stretches for over 20 light years. This area is also a star forming region containing over 250 young stars both in it, and around it.
Tech Specs: Williams Optics REDCAT51, ZWO ASI071mc-Pro running at 0C, Sky-Watcher EQ6R-Pro mount, Optolong L-eNhance filter (2”), 32 x 300 seconds (2hr40min), guided using a ZWO 30mm f/4 mini guide scope and ZWO 120 Mini, controlled with a ZWO ASIAir Pro running v1.5 software, stacked in DSS and processed using PixInsight and Adobe Lightroom. Image date: September 19th and 20th, 2020. Location: The Dark Side Observatory, Weatherly, PA, USA.
The Elephant Trunk Nebula is a stunning cosmic structure located within the IC 1396 region, approximately 2,400 light-years away in the constellation Cepheus. The image likely captures the dark, sinuous column of interstellar gas and dust resembling an elephant's trunk, winding through a rich star field. The nebula is illuminated by bright, massive stars nearby, whose radiation causes the surrounding gas to glow, creating striking contrasts between light and shadow.
Here are a few facts about the Elephant Trunk Nebula:
Star Formation: This region is an active star-forming area. The dense clouds within the "trunk" are collapsing under gravity, potentially giving birth to new stars.
Size: The entire structure is about 20 light-years long.

Playing hide and seek with its mate. Good that they were moving around because their resemblance to an old stick of wood is astonishin. Anilao, South Luzon, Philippines
St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands: Trunk Bay is an amazing place to go snorkeling. We saw a coral reef, sea turtles, squid, parrot fish, and so much more.....gorgeous, beautiful clear blue water, and pristine white-sand beach.

Trunk Bay beach is named after the leatherback turtle because they used to nest there in large numbers. But wait –they are called leatherbacks but the bay was named Trunk Bay. Why? Leatherbacks when on the ocean surface look like a steamer trunk floating so the Danes and locals called them trunk turtles, so the story goes.
Kellie and I are posing with 4 out of 6 kids from our Primary class during a Trunk or Treat activity. Kellie and I are supposed to be Wesley and Buttercup from The Princess Bride movie. Most of our kids identified us as characters from "Princess and the Bride."

It's pretty wet, so moss and ferns grow over all the old trees.

Lichens may be flat, leafy, crusty, powdery, or hair-like. They occur on tree bark as well as on rocks, soil, fence posts, etc. Colors may range from white to gray, red, green, yellow, or black. The presence of some lichens is normal on many trees and shrubs.
Epiphytes attach themselves to plants, but they do not harm the plants. While epiphytes may grow on wires, fences and other non-living structures, they are particularly well-adapted to grow on woody plants in well-lit, moist and humid habitats, especially near rivers, ponds and lakes.

Thanks to a tip from a friend, I was in a position to capture a very tardy Amtrak 391 with Grand Trunk Western GP38-2 4921 leading on the Main Line of Mid-America at Pesotum, IL.
Nearly half a century ago, a different GTW 4921 hauled GTW passenger trains before the coming of Amtrak, and it returned to passenger duty on account of the en-route failure of the Amtrak locomotive. 391 is running close to three hours late as it passes through central Illinois en route to Carbondale.

Some times on the old trunk, the trunk still rules even if for just a little while. Here two of the 4 or 5 Trunk units that were in Flat Rock lay over in between jobs. Taken with permission.
Southbound CSX train Q597-28 rocks down the jointed rail of their recently acquired former Grand Trunk rails to head around for the UP's Villa Grove Sub. at Thornton. Just a minute or so prior, a magnetation ore empty could be seen making the new connection between the ex-GTW and the B&OCT on the other side of the Cal Sag Channel in the distance. Blue Island, IL.
Second photo of this scene, all colours is natural, I love mix of them.
