This beach on St. John has a snorkel trail to follow. The trail is next to the rock islands located just off the beach.
Last shot I took this afternoon before a rogue wave (only small but fast enough) rendered my pals camera a gonna! I managed to lift mine up in time but he lost his balance and could not grab his fast enough, the tree in the picture turned with the wave and hit him on his shins and wiped out his tripod, lucky for him I had my eye on his camera as the tide took it to the shore, 10 seconds seemed like forever, lets hope he can claim on his insurance.
Special photo - not one but two elephants with raised trunks. The upward-trunked elephant is considered a positive omen, and it is often associated with blessings and good luck to those who encounter it. Kruger National Park - as rain was approaching.
Trunk is a Kings of Leon song, and is fine for these water drainage shapes on the beach that always look vaguely tree like. The reflections last night were superb. I had to go as Morag assumes i 'm always down the beach :)
