Our usual booth was reserved when we arrived at our favorite little Italian restaurant. Dimitri, our waiter told us that a young man was planning on asking his love to marry him there that night. I secured a table nearby, ordered my spaghetti Bolognese and waited.
While waiting on their dinner, the couple were holding hands, and I thought for a moment the question would be asked. Then Dimitri interupted them with their meal. They enjoyed their meal with the young man nervously scratching his head every five minutes or so. Finally, when they were done, he got on one knee before his love, and proposed.
In Napoli where love is king
When boy meets girl here's what they say
When the moon hits you eye like a big pizza pie
That's amore
When the world seems to shine like you've had too much wine
That's amore
Bells will ring ting-a-ling-a-ling, ting-a-ling-a-ling
And you'll sing "Vita bella"
Hearts will play tippy-tippy-tay, tippy-tippy-tay
Like a gay tarantella
When the stars make you drool just like a pasta fazool
That's amore
When you dance down the street with a cloud at your feet
You're in love
When you walk down in a dream but you know you're not
Dreaming signore
Scuzza me, but you see, back in old Napoli
That's amore.
That's amore.
My Darling sent them the flowers I had given her with best wishes.

Je n'ai ni scié ni changé la vis de support, je l'ai juste inversé et remplacé la bague par une autre du même diamètre mais beaucoup plus courte (7,5mm dont 6 a l'intérieur)..
Know what's really strange? Look how similar this is to my first pics for both FGR and TRP! They're in the comments below.

Today was my older son's birthday. I am thankful for him and my three other children. I am thankful that I was able to celebrate with him, two of my other children and their dad by seeing the new Harry Potter movie this afternoon. I am also thankful that my other daughter was able to meet us for dinner after the movie. It was good to be together to celebrate.

Removed from The Rogue Players because it was not taken on the day of the theme. However, my daughter is to be married today, and I have no time to shoot TRP specific shots. Please enjoy anyway. There is life beyond flickr.

I find it to be somehow disheartening that modern schools are built of steel girders and tin. There is an institutional beauty in the red brick of old schools that were built by communities for their children years ago.
This slowly crumbling elementary school, in the Mediterranean Revival style, was built in 1920. In 1931, the lead dog for the sled team that took Admiral Richard E. Byrd to the South Pole, Unalaska, was buried on the grounds. The Husky served as the school's mascot thereafter. Classes were last held in 1999.
Today the windows are broken out, the ceiling paint is falling in great chunks, and tropical vines creep through the cracks in the mortar. Pigeons and bats inhabit the belfries.
