My wife loves curio and relic firearms. They whisper to her from places far far away. This war torn Turkish Mauser should be priced around seventy-five to a hundred dollars. The condition of the wood is functional but battered by time. She paid a hundred and twenty-five dollars just to get the one that spoke sweet nothings in her ear. Yes, it shoots well, considering the bore ressembles a sewer pipe. She shoots it to it's potential. It's nice to know what to get her for the holidays....
