is a serpentine mountain road in Rauma Municipality, Møre og Romsdal county, Norway.
The road is narrow with many sharp bends, and although several bends were widened during 2005 to 2012, vehicles over 12.4 metres long are prohibited from driving the road.
t the 700-metre plateau there is a car park and several viewing balconies overlooking the bends and the Stigfossen waterfall. Stigfossen falls 320 metres down the mountainside. The pass has an elevation of approximately 850 metres.
Trollstigen is closed during late autumn and winter. A normal operating season stretches from mid-May to October, but may sometimes be shorter or longer due to weather conditions.
The cast iron trough runs out of a brick built section of bridgework over the River Tern. It's a very simple design and construction techniques are clearly evident from bolts, casting flaws and plug holes.

Located in the centre of the Upton Pyne village, Mid Devon. This is a stone drinking trough with an obelisk behind. The memorial engraved on the plinth is to Hugh Oliver Northcott who died at Hyde, Luton (Devon) and his daughter, Cecilly Julia Monica, who was born in New York and died in Florence in 1904. A local fox booking it past the water trough without drinking. Turned out the trough was filled with ants.
Some people noticed slime in the horse trough, and drew various things in it. I have no idea how long this was there before we found it.
The inscription on the horse trough reads: IN MEMORIAM / THE GIFT OF THE MISSES WOLFENDEN / WESTWOOD BOLTON / MAY 1896
