I am currently going back to some older images and seeing if any images are still worthy of processing or re-doing. I came across this image of Trigger strutting his stuff and was surprised I missed it first time around.
A laser trigger was set up to take photos (and fire a flash) of everyone who passed through the doorway of the code.lab space.
The images were then sent to a computer which analyzed them as they were received and attempted to detect faces. (badly)
PT-04 v3 Radio Triggers
Just got them today. as you can see they differ from design of the v2's being an L shape and half as tall. They also use AAA batteries instead of the crv3's

Cactus V2s (PT-04) trigger and receiver set.
433MHz, 4 channels selectable (channels must match on trigger and receiver, so up to 4 triggers with associated flashes or groups of flashes can work in close proximity without problems)
approx 10m range (though that is very battery dependent - low battery knocks it down below 3m)
Receiver has on/off slide switch - get into the habit of turning them off when not in use, CR2 batteries are an expensive habit to maintain :(
Trigger has test button - very handy to ensure all's working before you start to take shots (triggers and receivers all have a red LED which flashes when triggered)
sub-6v trigger voltage for flashes and cameras
hotshoe and PC-sync options for both triggers and receivers for lots of options.
can be daisychained - trigger on different channel sits on top of receiver to set off a more remote receiver (not a brilliant solution, but thought I'd give it a try seeing as I had enough bits to test this...)
trigger has externally-accessible channel selection switches, the receiver switches are inside the battery cover, which is quite stiff to remove
receiver has tiltable shoe/tripod bracket with tightening knob on the side (effective as any small table-top tripods, gorillapods, etc can be used as remote light-stands)
many mods/hacks for range and power options are available on the web. not yet tried any...

Subjects are only able to trigger the camera using their brainwaves once they achieve a certain level of relaxation. At a pre-determined level of alpha activity (relaxation) a signal was sent to the camera to fire via the MindWave device, creating a unique self portrait. Sound by Chris Watson was used as a form of neurofeedback, decreasing in volume as subject became more relaxed. For more info see
