This photo was taken in the bank of the Segre river in Lleida (Spain), with the help of an external flash configured manually to 1/32 and triggered remotely from the camera.

Här kommer mitt bidrag till fotosöndags veckotema - våren.
Fast det har inte känts som vår vissa dagar den här veckan. Så jag bestämde mig att ta en vår-bild inomhus. Bilden är faktiskt 3 bilder (den första för påskliljan, dom andra två för den ljus-målade blomman. Ljuset kom från min telefonskärm).

... so decided to take a spring picture indoors. This was actually three shots (one for the actual daffodils, and two for the light painted flower which was my phone with a green or yellow screen)
Strobist info: One Godox AD200 at 1/4 power in a gridded square softbox directly over the daffodils. Exposure was 1/250s at f/14. The light flower was two shots (an 6s exposure for the green and a 1s exposure for the yellow). Flash triggered wirelessly.
This takes the cake as my favorite weapon included with the Rocket Commando. It also helps that this is my favorite gun in the Brickarms arsenal. I've managed
to get 3 of these beauties including this one. Enough gloating! The gun is a work
of art. Due to it being a blend of many rayguns from a variety of sources, this gun fits with many minifigs and scenes. The one detail that completes the utter
awesomeness that is this gun is the trigger in the trigger guard. This is, from
my knowledge, the first gun to have this, and I hope this isn't the last. It looks
amazing, and makes the raygun feel finalized.

2003/06/19: The city of Buford erect a statue of Roy Rogers, Trigger and Jack Johnson, the last living Bona Allen saddle maker. In the late 1940s, Roy Rogers had a custom saddle made in the city of Buford. The Bona Allen factory also made custom saddles for the actors on the Bonanza show.
While the name Bona Allen is synonymous with the leather industry in Buford, it was his older brother, R.H. Allen, who established the first tanning operation here in late 1870, early 1871. R.H., though partially paralyzed and unable to walk, worked tirelessly. He traveled by goat cart soliciting business, selling hides, and manufacturing saddles, harnesses, bridles, and other leather goods.

The soon-to-be released Phottix Strato 4 in 1 2.4 GHz Trigger connected to a Canon 40D. It will trigger flashes and work as a wired or wireless shutter release.

For strobists: Canon 580EX on camera left. Triggered with a Canon ST-E2 infrared transmitter. Between the strobe and the model is a large self made translucent light panel (just out of the frame).
After watching the truly inspirational Dean Collins DVD's, I decided to make my own 2x1 meter light panel out of PVC tubing. I bought the translucent fabric from my camera store.

A good improvement from my first shoot I think. Better lighting, composition, etc, etc. I'm not 100% about the background, but it's different from so many of the other high-speed water balloons on flickr.
From my second shoot with my new digital sound trigger. A bit more thought to composition and lighting this time round.

A little pause from Paraty photos... testing a laser trigger that I plan to use togheter with sound trigger in a new setup I'm working on.
The coin is a US 10 cents of dollar, aka "dime".
3 flashes used on this photo, 430EX, MR14-EX and Sunpak 383, all triggered by Cactus connected to a laser trigger.
The 40d remote live view shooting from computer is awesome, helped a lot.

A moeda é de 10 centavos de dolar, também conhecida como "dime", um pouco menor que a moeda de 1 centavo de Real.

Miscellaneous "fidget widgets" to help keep me engaged during long phone converence calls and video conferences.
Focus stack (20 images) Shot with two off-camera strobes (Godox AD200Pro/XPro II trigger) Flash A bare bulb, mounted on overhead boom, bounced off 32 inch white imbrella. Flash B modified with MagMod MagSphee, behind velum scrim, masked to creat narrow slit camera right. White reflector 8 x 10 inch, camera right, 45 degrees to provide fill.
Shot for Weekely theme - fidget widgets
This was the second splash in the tank, so the blue and green gels from the first flash burst colored the water that was already there from the first splash. The flash triggered manually from the front had a red gel.
I decided to add a little colour to image, the use of extension tubes to get a bigger image results in the EXIF data showing false lens data because the extension tubes don't have electrical connections, the 1/10th exposure time meant using a remote trigger to avoid shake.
Macro Mondays 'junk' theme.
I have no idea why, but I keep trigger clips from dog leads. Whenever a lead wears out or breaks, I carefully cut off the clip and toss it into a little dish along with all the others.
These are fairly small trigger clips and the widest part of the clips showing measures a fraction over 2 inches
