The Rocket Man Show is the USA's number one 70's and 80's Elton John Tribute show. The show is an EXACT re-enactment of an early Elton John concert featuring elegant replica costumes. Many Items were worn by Elton John himself! 100 percent live instruments are played during the entire show. Audiences laugh, cry, sing and dance while enjoying a fun filled evening. So much fun is had by all.

The Rocket Man Show musicians portray Elton John's intense 70's and 80's concerts down to the most elaborate detail. The show features several rich and colorful costumes. Each costume has been professionally designed and tailored to match Elton's iconic look from his early decades on stage. All of Elton's hits can be heard including; Bennie and The Jets, Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, Crocodile Rock, & Tiny Dancer to name a few. Rus is a brilliant entertainer/singer/pianist.

(FYI: the background singer on the left is 'his wife' and the young lady

standing next to her is her sister! Rus Anderson is from Scotland. The

teddy-bear (above) was a gift to Rus from Elton John and is featured in a picture on the back of the Goodbye Yellow Brick Road album)

Baastenduerf Out of Control Goes Magic // 20.9.2014

Last night you and your very lovely lady went out to the Westgate Resort & Casino and were thoroughly Thrilled by the Enchantingly Erotic topless stage show antics of SEXXY! So now you and your woman are back, making a return trip to the Westgate for more Thrills. First you two loved B. B. King, and then Chuck Berry, then Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, and then y'all fell in love with Prince. So way back in the 1980's you and your very lovely lady would get all dressed up nice and spiffy and y'all went to the posh inner-city discos to dance Swing and Hustle to Prince's music. When the nightclubs played Prince back in the 1990's, the music still made you and your sexy woman jump up and dance Swing and Hustle. So has anything changed in 2016 now that Prince is gone! You and your woman need to be here at this exciting tribute show to show folks that y'all still know what to do when his music is being played. Jason Tenner's tribute show is THE ultimate Prince tribute show. Do not be bashful of jumping up and dancing Swing and Hustle in the theatre aisle -- after all, you two have been dancing to Prince for the last 36 years and you two will never forget how good it feels! Can You DIG It!

Terrific night out seeing this great band again but this time at a different venue, at Eddie's Bandroom in Moorabbin, a perfect place to see and enjoy live music with pulsating sound and illuminating lighting. Look forward to catching these guys again down the track.

Terrific night out seeing this great band again but this time at a different venue, at Eddie's Bandroom in Moorabbin, a perfect place to see and enjoy live music with pulsating sound and illuminating lighting. Look forward to catching these guys again down the track.

Photos from the Blues Brothers 21Cats and Soul Sisters show at Eddie's Bandroom in Moorabbin. This was our first show for 2022, and what a way to kick off the new year with a very powerful and well orchestrated group of musicians recreating the music made famous by Jake and Elwood.

Terrific evening listening to hits made famous by the legendary Stevie Nicks being performed by Lisa West and her band. Cabarita Beach Sports Club might be a small club but Lisa and the guys had the audience up and out of their seats dancing and singing along so some of the greatest tunes of our time. Look forward to catching this show again soon.

Playing once again to a full house of over 500 people, the Rumours Fleetwood Mac Experience Show had everyone bopping along to the tunes made famous by Fleetwood Mac over the years including Rhiannon, Sara, Tusk to name a few.

People were dancing in front of the stage, in the aisles and at the back of the auditorium - it is no wonder this show keeps getting rave reviews and is back each year - they are very popular.

A great show full of energy and again a show that brought back memories of our younger days through music we grew up with.

If they come your way well worth the effort of seeing them.

Taking me back to the 60's and 70's, these guys brought back to life the sounds I grew up with. How good was it hearing songs from The Stones, Beatles, CCR, Dobie Gray, CSNY, Eric Clapton, Sir Bob, Pink Floyd just to name a few.

And seeing all the people who turned up 'in character' for the show was something you had to see to believe.

Great night, great music. Will definitely be catching these guys again when they are next in town.

Some photos from Thursday night's fun time party at the Pan Pacific Masters Games here on the Gold Coast where the Hot Potato Band provided the entertainment. I first saw these guys in early 2016 at Surfers Live and was impressed then but last night I was totally blown away by their sound and performance - they were fantastic. And they know how to involve the audience and make them part of the show.

"Although difficult to describe their genre, HPB continues to compile their arsenal of songs inspired by Pop, Funk, Ska, Reggae and bound by the classic sounds of New Orleans brass bands.

The bands unique sound is built on the backs of three drummers and a sousaphone, along with an array of horns covering catchy chorus lines and providing a layered harmonic cloud for Ben (vocalist) to float above. They are a band never to shy from a good time."

Went down to see Paul Hayman present his '50 Years of Legends' show and boy, what a show this is - great songs from yesteryear performed by a great singer who is more than ably supported by Kylie Wall with some astounding dance moves. The audience of 600+ were well and truly entertained listening to Paul's great voice recreate the music of Bill Hayley, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, Dean Martin, Johnny Cash and Sammy Davis Jnr to name but a few.

Saturday night saw me down the road at Nerang Bowls Club to see The Dynamics featuring Izzy (Isobel Hall) and Wazza (Warren Thomas). This was the second time this year I have seen them and most certainly was not disappointed.

Thoroughly enjoyable night of music, great vocals, fine guitarmanship (is there such a word? well there is now!). Covering Aus Rock, Classic Rock, Country and Modern Rock, was really fun, bopping along to tunes I had grown up with and even singing along - sorry for mucking up some of the lyrics.

BUT, the extra special bonus last night was when Jonathan Everett-Jones took to the stage and joined in on some tunes with his legendary harp playing - the same Jonathan Everett-Jones who in years gone by played with the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Joe Cocker, Alexis Korner and Supertramp amongst others.

What an energetic and entertaining show this morning. Paul Hayman certainly knows how to turn it on and what better place to do it than in a close to capacity auditorium known as the Twin Towns Showroom. You know you have a success on your hands when the audience are singing along and clapping their hands reminiscing as the songs of yesteryear are being performed on stage with choreographed dance moves by Kylie Hayman-Wall.

A privilege to again have the opportunity to 'shoot' Paul and his "Not Strictly Ballroom" show. And how lucky is Paul to have his talented wife Kylie on stage dancing with him.
