A Cloudy Day North in Thailand.
Historically the Golden Triangle has been an area well-known for the growing of opium, and the name comes from a US State Department memo on the practice. These days, though, the place lives on the cultivation of tourists, and this is undoubtedly the largest tourist trap in northern Thailand.
The landscape is hilly, divided by the Ruak River that flows into the Mekong (Mae Khong) River. These rivers form a natural boundary between the three countries Laos (to the east of the Mekong), Myanmar (to the north of the Ruak), and Thailand (to the west of the Mae Khong).

When you see something at the end of the tunnel...It makes you wonder, it needs some exploring, of the urban kind that is.

30 year old toy vacuum that picks up blocks. It was my daughter's in the early 90's, saved it for the grandkids.
Partner, should I carry on? I imagine seriously dense quilting on this one, white or ivory background.

A Macro Mondays submission on the topic "triangles". Leaves from a tree in garden arranged to form triangular shapes.
The white triangle looks like the "lying triangle or arrow", the symbol for "next picture/photo". In fact, however, the photograph shows a section of the "vitra design museum" building in Weil am Rhein/Germany.
It's the interior of Pan Pacific Hotel, Singapore. After taking some pictures, better to share the one with a cleaner doing her duty.
