i'm not sure exactly what this pattern is called. i think it is a variation of pascal's triangle.
i do know it is a fractal.
other than that it is fun to draw.

Friday theme challenge #triangle
I learned something unique today, as we walked around earlier this morning into a very cool store that caters to vintage items along with crystals/rocks. This particular stone immediate caught my eye for this Friday's challenge. This stone is named, Titanium Obsidian. Enjoy.

I too struggled to find interesting " complete" , 3 sided triangles...many examples of inferred , though. I'm experimenting a lot with water droplets these days. This is a drop of water on a plant leaf . My triangle is printed on a backdrop behind the plant and I used the drop as another lens to reflect the image. Tedious , but fun.
"I used to like triangles, but then I got to Trigonometry in math class. Who knew that three sides could be so complicated?"

Created for the FLickr Friday theme, TRIANGLE.
We see double triangles these days. One of which is popular as "Winter Triangle" comprised of Sirius, Procyon and Betelguese. And now we also see the bigger triangle by Procyon, Mars and Jupiter nearby.

Triangle Park in Vancouver primarily refers to a small park area located along the False Creek seawall, within the Olympic Village neighbourhood.
This park is known for its waterfront location and is distinguished by a contemporary design that features a sculptural structure and custom-designed wave walls that serve as seating, inspired by the water and the area's former industrial activity (shipbuilding). Although often referred to as "Triangle Park" in planning documents and databases, it is one of several small green spaces the city has created or renamed, such as the recently named McAuley Park (formerly known as the "Kingsway Triangle").
I finished my triangle quilt this weekend! I was going to add a pieced binding and had it all cut out and ready. Then I went to get the mail and opened a fabric purchase, laid it near the quilt and discovered I liked the striped fabric so much, I used it for the binding! pretty great timing! The binding is Alexander Henry seaweed stripe.
A couple mistakes by the novice quilter (me). Used organic natural cotton batting. Not good for a quilt with lots of white-I can see all the little brown specks that are in this batting...
Also, used cream colored thread to quilt on a white fabric.
Also, got a big bubble in the backing after free motion quilting.
such is life.

Pickerings Triangle, the lesser photographed part of the Cygnus Loop supernova remnant. It actually has no NGC classification number, although NGC 6979 is sometimes used. This portion of the Cygnus loop was discovered in 1904 by Willamina Fleming, but credited to Edward Pickering, the director of her observatory. This was customary back in that time.
I tried this object last year but was not happy with the data as my timing and clear skies happen to occur during some extremely hot and smoky filled(forest fires) days. This year, the skies cooperated and was able to capture some decent data.

Saw this in my apartment's lobby while waiting for a pizza delivery, and realized I had some triangles for FlickrFriday
It was an exquisite 55-degree December Sunday, so I took my dog Kovacs to the last dog day of the year at the #MortonArboretum. Third time now that we’ve run into a coyote when I’ve been there with my dog. We backed up slowly under its unblinking stare; I’m sure it didn’t want confrontation, just making sure we retreated, but I was a bit nervous being there after that.
