It's mini art! This is an interesting piece! The bottom of this piece is cream-colored. The top piece is a transparent piece of purple glass that changes to blue depending on the light. Cream colored triangles decorate the top. The glass has been manipulated to create a bent, s-shaped pattern. An acrylic hanger has been attached to the back so that it's ready to hang on the wall.
This cute little rainbow piece is 5" tall and 3" wide. The "swish" stands out from the wall about 3/4".

today i biked from home, around diamond head and back. my halfway mark/pit stop was triangle park. :)

A close-up showing the final folds. The seams are all sewn down, really, but it's difficult to see the stitches (which is kind of the point, I suppose. :))

Yarn: 2 (50g/137yd) balls Filatura Di Crosa 501 (100% wool) in color #176 [Yellow]; 1 (2.5oz) hank Patchwork Fibers Cormo Wool; 1 (2oz) hank Patchwork Fibers Jacob Wool and Nylon in Purple. 501 and Cormo Wool were worked with 2 strands held together throughout.
Needles: 3.75mm (US 5)
