located on isolated island getaway, beach front, sunset views. pulley system for taking luggage up, 2 beds - £3 a night!
This is a little scale model of a treehouse I designed. I'm working with some people to build this or something like it for a housing community.
Early morning from our Treehouse Bungalow on the island of Koh Rong, 2 hr boat ride from Sihanoukville, Cambodia. It's a beautiful and rustic island that will no doubt be destroyed by development and mass tourism. The only thing saving it is the horrible sand flies on the deceptively beautiful white sand beaches. Didn't stop people leaving their rubbish and cigarette butts everywhere. :(

somebody is going to tell me to go down to 4 feet 6 inches, but 4 feet 2 inches is all i’ve got. it’s basically impossible to get last 4 inches with the post hole digger i have. i had to cut through some small roots but got very lucky i was able to dig down and just miss a very large root that i wouldn't have wanted to damage.
hi. ho. if the frost goes down that far, it wins.
i found a piece of a glass bottle 3 feet down which seemed like a long ways down to be finding glass.
An abandoned treehouse next to a train station somewhere between Heidelberg and Frankfurt. Incidentally, this is where a very nice lady broke a 50 EU note for me so I could catch the train and then catch my flight back home.
We had dinner in the Alnwick Gardens Treehouse restaurant.
Those seated against the branches said they were surprisingly comfortable.

The door on the 2nd floor opens into a sunny entrance room with a mirror, dresser, and (not shown) coat closet and chairs for donning boots.

In 2008 I asked that each member use the fabrics I provided to create a treehouse and to somehow write their name on their block.
This is the final product- A tree full of treehouses!
