This is a rough idea of a treehouse I want to build in my backyard. It's basically an elevated deck with a small clubhouse.
My available bricks were getting increasingly bizarre - largely just the medieval village plus a pot half full of wood bricks. But I had the urge to build something really cool, and not a car.
So I did.
As the final touches on the Ithaca treehouse were set in place, a new treehouse builder started work in the same black willow. This white-breasted nuthatch doesn't seem to mind his neighbors, and he and the spouse are successfully rearing two chicks. Looks like lots of dreams will start here.
Inspired by the show, Treehouse Masters, I made a lucky minifig child an ultimate treehouse. Complete with a sink, coffee cup, arm chair, loft with writing nook, and amazing views.
The treehouse is modular in a sense that it can be split- truck and house- although a trunk runs throughout the whole structure.
The lucky minifig, Jimmy, is now the king of his town's youngsters!
I thought that this "house" could squeeze into my collection of derelict/ abandoned/ dilapidated houses! The owner of the house may dispute such categorizations completely however!
Treehouse resort, done with Kevin Hinders. Maui, HI is the context for this one, an arboretum on the way to Hana. This is a computer rendering feathered into a picture. This is an interesting resort model for ecologically sensitive areas. Nothing touches the ground, and you live within the flow of nature, instead of replacing it with the cultural view of nature you may have.
