Clouds were beginning to roll into the neighborhood where my wife and I live. When I arrived home from work, I snapped a few pictures.

not my 365; just something for me.

I was looking for a specific photo over the weekend and happen to run across some pictures I had forgot I'd taken.

My husband takes a business trip every year to San Francisco and I have the pleasure of joining him, so while he is at work I get to walk around the city and enjoy it's many beauties... These were taken in Summer 2005.

May 19, 2021 - Sandhill Crane (Antigone canadensis) in the North American region of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.

My wife and I took our dog for a walk in our neighborhood this evening. As we were starting our walk, I snapped this small piece of sunshine peaking through a neighbor's tree.

This apple tree is in my backyard. It is not very tall yet and has Cedar Apple Rust on the leaves. My neighbor has a full grown apple tree in her yard and it also has this. Maybe that's how mine got infected.

March 22, 2019 - Red leaves and fading sunshine at the apartment complex where my wife and I live.

Today, i woke up with a fever :(

On Christmas day my wife, Dad and brother all took a walk in our neighborhood. I received a Nikon D3500 as a gift and took it along for a test run.

A big branch fell off the tulip tree in the parking lot and landed in the phone lines during the strong storms in the D.C. area.

The mountain laurels persist through the frost covered mornings of early spring, though the warmth of lengthening days bring forth the best the blossoming trees have to offer. Permeating the air in the form of purple petals with aromas of a uniquely familiar artificial grape, these flowering tree blossoms herald the Central Texas spring yet to come.

In the springtime from mid to late April and May there are two species of cherry trees in season in Central Park. The Kwanzan Cherry and Yoshino Cherry are in both in bloom for tourists and residents to gaze upon, as they blend in perfectly, completing the park's stunningly aesthetic scenery during these months.

A Nightjar rests silently on a tree branch in the soft glow of the morning light. These elusive nocturnal birds are masters of camouflage, often blending seamlessly with bark and leaves.

Photographed in [Location], Bangladesh, this image captures a rare glimpse of a night hunter in the daylight—peaceful, still, and beautifully hidden in plain sight.

Over a long weekend a Danish photographer and I set out for an extended road trip from Copenhagen up into Sweden. Over the following several days we moved from the warm southern regions into the frozen midlands. These are the photos from that journey.

A tree lost its branch (probably due to a passing truck) and the water leaking out of it has formed some icicles. It never made it above freezing today, and I was attempting to photograph the drips.

After my wife left for work, I snapped a few pictures of the Saturday sunrise.

My wife drove the first part of our trip back home to NC. Since I was the passenger, I snapped these pictures of trees and mountains near Harpers Ferry. In this area, Virginia, Maryland, and West Virginia all kind of meet.
