Thank you for looking!

Droplets formed on the branches of the Japanese Maple in our front yard. The focus is on the droplet in the center of the gently curving branch.

Tree branches overhang the natural South Fork of the Saint Lucie River. The photo was taken from Halpatiokee Regional Park in Stuart, Florida.

Have a great weekend, everyone. HFF !

My old friend the beached sea monster again.

Taken on Himatangi beach, Manawatu, NZ.

>> Here are more of my beach finds on flickr :-)

And this is link back to The 'finished' Sea Monster photo I put up.

The story:

"... you CANNOT seriously think Donald should be ... "

Back in March, on one of my too infrequent trips to the beach, I found this sea monster.

I watched him for a while and he seemed to be having a serious discussion with a driftwood tree stump, but that finished suddenly when a dirt bike went passed and he took off chasing it.

Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to get photos of that ;-P

(And for those very observant, yes this is taken with a different camera. I usually take 2, or 3, cameras with me on hunting trips)

Hier eine wunderschöne, wahrscheinlich noch junge Blaumeise im sanften Abendlicht.

Here is a beautiful, probably still young Eurasian blue tit in the soft evening light.

A blue jay, perched on a dead tree branch with a blurred green background. Picture was taken in my Oklahoma backyard.

The old mage, or more commonly known as the crazy old man, lives in his leaning tower that is held up by the magic spells that he cast upon it, however in reality the credit goes to the treebranch that over the years has started to grow inside the house and even poking out the window.

A build I finished a while ago now but only now got around to posting it. I really like how it came out, the only thing I think needs improvement is the middle roofsection (middle of 3).

Any critisism is welcome, hope you enjoy it!

H.T.C.

Horribly, terribly and completely.

As in nature, so as in hearts, some days are filled with H.T.C.

But the sun still rises.

Springs, summers, autumns, and winters are always just around the corner.

Water still flows downhill, cats still prowl, babies still cry, and the human heart still heals.

Thank Him that He knows what He is doing, because as a human, I have the uncanny ability to fail miserably.

(This was shot in the early morning along the Florida gulf coastline. The beach was filled with deadness, like this tree, left bare and reaching, a result of the last nasty hurricane that came through, tearing apart this beautiful beach, as it passed.)

May your day shine beautifully dear friends..

With absolutely no tears, unless of course

they are tears of joy.. :)

This male northern cardinal was seen perched on a tree branch in Osceola County near Kenansville, Florida.

Adult Wood ducks (Aix sponsa).

One male in eclipse plumage with three females.

Wildwood Lake, canal side. Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

A close-up view of traditional Japanese furin (wind chimes) with tanzaku (paper strips) bearing calligraphy for Nikko Futarasan Jinja, hanging from a branch at a shrine.

I heard noise above my head & found a male wood duck up there quacking away. Not surprising this time of year because wood ducks nest in cavities of trees. Not on the ground like most other ducks do.

I wonder what the collective name is for a group of catkin...

In March I had an opportunity to visit my sister in Victoria, Texas. While visiting we toured many areas where I was able to get a photo shoot in. On this day we stayed in Victoria and traveled to the outskirts where this lazy river was flowing. Right on that river bank was a bar and grill where we relaxed with a Martini and shrimp. Such a nice view from their outdoor deck! Some of the views are abstract with many reflections. I will be uploading each place separately as I get them ready to view. A tree branch covered in snow.

Beautiful brown thrasher right across the creek from me. Fit in perfectly with all the different shades of brown in December.
