After one year working on last summer pictures, I finally have a new batch of (hopefully worth posting !) shots !
I'm sorry for my lack of post lately but circumstances (and lack of content) made me step a bit back from Flickr. Anyway,
This is - according to me - the most stunning waterfall in Plitvice National Park. The "big waterfall", Veliki Slap might be tall but not as majestic as this one. So if you are planning to hike & shoot in Plitivce, go straight to enter 2 (6.30am or earlier) and run to this waterfall. Ths morning light is superb and you will fully enjoy the magic of the place without the crowd.

An almost silent dawn with gentle, soft light and a fine white coating on the landscape. There is nothing more it needs to take a photograph.

In this post I look at the the Environmental Movement from a historical perspective and how it has changed from its earliest beginnings in America to the present time. With the progression of the movement how has the role of the landscape artist and photographer also changed? I look closely at the role off two prominent artists in helping shape the movement, Albert Bierstadt and Ansel Adams and close with some thoughts how landscape photographers today can continue and expand upon the legacy of these two icons in the current age of social media.

Finally some sun! The day before and a good part of that morning we were wet from head to toe. It was good to see a bit of blue sky, and, of course, a little rainbow as the cherry on the cake!

The title is a combination of a popular song from Nena and a popular book...you guessed it.
Hunting for this light and floor forest was quite challenging, required several trips and periods of waiting.
Nevertheless, it was a great joy the be surrounded by silence and these ghostly trees.

Heather season...
A Photoshoot of 2-3 weeks ago, with Sam; and we were lucky ! when we arrived there, we had our doubts about the weather, and finally the mist appeared gradually which gave a rather magical sunrise.
First pic of the series I will try to complete it with 2-3 other compositions.

Mushrooms !!!
October 2022 - Belgium - Brussels
It's clear that it's not my usual style, I don't often take out my macro lens.. but here, since I wanted to take pictures of autumn, it was the time ! I'm still learning and also I see that since my lasat macro I made some progress in a way..
I was lucky to find those few mushrooms, since they never last very long (either ravaged by passers-by, or eaten by animals, or even their quite short lifespan)..
Anyway I'm quite happy with the result, I composed this photo to isolate this small group as much as possible; a first photo was taken to soften the fore and background, and to remove unnecessary details and the 2nd shot to maximize the details with a "slightly greater" depth of field.
There will be more, stay tuned!
