The Key Summit Track, just off the Routeburn Track in Fiordland National Park, is an absolutely stunning and special place. When visiting again recently the weather was pretty windy and wet but we made it to the top. Not surprisingly the otherwise fantastic views were non-existent with heavy cloud cover. Instead I focussed on other points of interest like these two hard-tested trees. Magic.

We have had some foggy days this winter. The fog creates a magical realm. I became so enchanted I would not have been surprised to see a unicorn walking out of the mist.

Under the canopy of chestnuts. Harvest season has just begun as the chestnuts start to fall to the ground.
Since today's first photo served more of an informative rather than an artistic purpose, I would like to add a little nature to it. This is a photo from my trip to Thailand. Yes, I actually still have photos left.
You may have seen this tree before. At that time I photographed him in profile and he filled the entire frame. Here you can see a little more of the beautiful landscape in which I met him.
Exploring the region around Kanchanaburi was one of the highlights of my trip and I know I'm not done with it yet.
That's why this region is again on my list for my next visit.
Nachdem das erste Foto von heute eher einem informativen und weniger einen künstlerischen Ziel diente möchte ich es noch um ein wenig Natur ergänzen Dies ist ein Foto von meiner Reise nach Thailand. Ja, ich hab tatsächlich immernoch Fotos übrig.
Diesen Baum habt Ihr vielleicht schon einmal gesehen. Damals hab ich ihn im Profil fotografiert und er hat das gesamte Foto ausgefüllt. Hier seht Ihr nun etwas mehr von der schönen Landschaft, in der ich ihn angetroffen habe.
Die Region rund um den Ort Kanchanaburi zu erkunden, war eines der Highlights meiner Reise und ich weiß, ich bin auch noch nicht fertig damit.
Darum ist diese Region erneut auf meiner Liste, für meinen nächsten Besuch.

Esa tarde de un viernes que fuimos a buscar las más que probablemente más espectaculares vistas de Euskadi, nos sorprendió una niebla que no dejaba ver más allá de 50m. I took this photo in a new forest that I just discovered. I found three new spots with a lot of potential. I am in Switzerland in the canton of Fribourg, district of Gruyère.
Esta semana he andado liado y no he podido dedicarle el tiempo que hubiera querido a la fotografía, así que hoy tenia que aprovechar la ocasión de fotografiar esta nevada con la que el otoño nos ha sorprendido.
