Cotton Tree in Chinese has another name, the Hero Tree.

In Chinese culture, hero is usually matched with a beautiful woman. In Chinese, they call it "英雄配美人".

Please check out another shot for the lady:

My favorite tree at Memorial Lake State Park

I enjoy the shapes trees create, like veins into the sky.

Typical old Gum trees of the cold climate in Australia.

Foggy day and a patch of trees in field.

The other kind of treefrog we have here in our corner of Cape Cod is the "Gray Tree Frog" Hyla versicolor. This is one of the babies. They start out green and eventually gradually turn gray over time. They will get to be about the size of a golf ball as an adult - and are all gray. They are vocal at night in late June and July, seemingly turning on and off their calls with the clock... on at 8:00 off at 11:00.

The tree swallow is a migratory passerine bird that breeds in North America and winters in Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. It is a very rare vagrant to western Europe. This swallow averages 13.5 cm long and weighs about 20 g.

Scientific name: Tachycineta bicolor.

One of the great things about this past weekend was seeing a whole different variety of birds, and this shot was the first time id seen swallows in the wild . Cheers
