Our Christmas Tree. There are decorations that go on the tree year after year & some new ones each year.
I never fully appreciate the tree until I spend some time up close and take in the little hidden places between the branches.

This slender white tree against the black metal slats caught my eye. At first I wanted to get a composition with the whole tree against the dark wall, but despite trying from different angles and focal lengths, I couldn’t get it to work. Then I stopped and asked myself, what about this scene really means the most to me? It was the relationships between the white trunk and the black slats. So I cut out everything else out.

Close by are the Bus Stop, and Bus Shelter (one of the buildings on the right).
