One wet Sunday in March I was sat having breakfast in Marsden ready to go walking in Wessenden as usual, it was raining hard and I was questioning my sanity. I had a look at the weather and according to the rain radar on Weatherpro it was fine a little further south. I decided to drive that way, by the time I got to Holmfirth the sun was showing, by Langset it was fine, very windy and there was blue in the sky. I turned over the Strines, the poor weather was catching up with me but at the south end of the Strines I had a wander in a wood and had about half an hour of broken cloud photographing some interesting old trees before the rain caught up with me.
