I am so sorry that I haven't been posting or visiting much recently - life is a bit hectic at the moment. I hope it will be more back to normal in a couple of weeks.
I couldn't resist the lure of the Scottish Day in the Life - the feast of St Margaret - challenge today though - it was so lovely to get out at lunchtime in the sunlight. I seem to live life in darkness at the moment - next week sunset is before 4pm. :(
OK - I can't find a Queen Margaret link for this one.
I like the way they plant trees on golf courses - they obviously have never heard of the planting in 3s rule.
Shot on a foggy night with vintage manual Sigma Super-Wide II 24 f2.8. The Pleiades are clearly visible above the fog.
Chris and I stopped off for a late lunch at the Coffee Shack in "South Kona" (between mile marker 108 & 109 on Highway 11). They had good sandwiches and, as you might expect, coffee.
This beautiful and enormous avocado tree (at least 4 stories tall) ensures a plentiful supply of fresh guacamole. ¡Olé!
Driving home from the mall one night with the family out of the corner of my eye I spotted this scene. After dropping everyone off at home I returned to take some pictures.
