I don't know what I looked like but he was shocked obviously.
Je ne sais pas quelle tête j'avais mais je l'ai visiblement bien effrayé
Looking back through some shots and this stood out from last year.
It's a half dead tree in Bushy park, but the other half of it keeps going!
The original, taken in June, has vivid blue and green. But I liked the mono version more, it has a little more texture for me.
Nothing to do with winter or snow right now, I just liked it.

Time
Pink Floyd
Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day
Fritter and waste the hours in an off-hand way
Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town
Waiting for someone or something to show you the way
Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain
You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
And you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death
Dogwood...
Another cold, gray day. Just outside the back door, there is a Dogwood in tight bud, holding on to those buds until spring.
In order to try to make this image interesting, I processed it with Nik Silver Efex Pro using the Antique Plate setting.
My favourite tree.
This was taken in some park far far away (somewhere in the Greater Toronto Area)....when my dad took me driving (to practice). It was my first time driving in...nature, where the roads are all narrow and there are trees a meter away from the car.
