i give my gym a work out every day, although you wouldn't realise it! there's a treadmill off to the right as well
After Kiva Han, we walked towards the Cathedral of Learning where we passed by a building with this treadmill being thrown away. The US is indeed a very rich country. If I had the means, I'd have taken it home!
When I first got Madison, she wouldn't go anywhere near the treadmill..... then she started walking across it. Last night I saw her sitting on it! I guess she wants to go for a run :P
On Day 18 of this project I photographed my treadmill space - www.flickr.com/photos/slgc/5367391428/in/set-721576255911... It was functional, but not much else.
Now that we've finished our basement renovation, I have a much nicer space in which to work out.
Value added - as I took my camera downstairs to photograph today's subject, a Katy Perry video just happened to be playing on Vh1. I call Katy my Treadmill Girl - her videos helped me get through my Marathon training last year and I always run a little faster when her songs are playing. I enjoyed being able to include her in this shot :)
This little guy was hoping to use the toilet paper as a treadmill for some exercise, but there was too much friction and he just fell off.
The Hi5 Group was over for our weekly meeting yesterday. Dixie jumped up on the treadmill and gave Chris a look. Chris turned on the treadmill for Dixie, and Alexandra was fascinated. She took this video of Dixie walking.
For most individuals, regular exercise routine feels much like a chore! People have not enough time for regular exercise; the reason behind this is just lack of time.
However, the market is loaded with a wide range of workout equipment that are exclusively designed for home use. Yes, a treadmill for jogging, walking, and running is a well-known part of most exercise regimens at any gym. But, the most significant deterrent to bringing one home is the huge size of the treadmill. That’s where a folding treadmill is the best option!

Very very quiet treadmill.
The first hour, I was a bit seasick.
Getting better now... Let's see how next week goes.

Hittin’ the treadmill during my lunch hour- take that Texas Heat!
When I was unable to do any exercise for three months I put on a little bit of weight which is to be expected, but not a good thing for my upcoming mountain trekking plan. But if I keep on course I will hit my healthy goals and be ready for those Colorado mountains!

Year Nine Of My 365 Project
There are many wondrous and strange things over at the LSU Vet School. Dogs with sore joints jogging on underwater treadmills. Doors behind which is contained a swimming pool full of research catfish. Dead cows being trundled around on forklifts. It's really a very active place.
Swede White over at WRKF had asked me to go along and photograph a demonstration of canine physical therapy (they don't just put the dogs on underwater treadmills for our amusement). A dog... on an underwater treadmill? How could I say no?
Anyway, I had some grand ideas about dramatically lighting the aforementioned submerged canine but one of the flash positions I would have liked was not available due to the construction of the apparatus. And the other location I had in mind involved poor Swede leaning over a steaming vat of water with a remote flash wrapped in a paper tower to keep it dry as I popped the strobe through a sheet of opaque plexiglass. All in all, I got about 80% of the effect I was going for and WRKF got the more "normal" photos they needed for their website. So, everyone was happy... with the possible exception of the dead cow on the forklift.
All in a days work, kids. All in a days work.
Check out more at my blog, Lemons and Beans, for lots of photos, recipes, travel writing and other ramblings. I appreciate any feedback but, please do not post graphic awards or invitations in the comments, I'm just not crazy about them.
Obviously, this is an uneventful photo, but I wanted the shot for my website ( www.uofmtiger.com ). It shows the treadmill in my closet with the two entertainment devices that make the time pass a bit faster. ( I only use one or the other, but I did not want to take two pics)
Yeah - so you can see how often I use my treadmill - look at the dust on it!
Not so much anymore - gonna get back into 5k shape!
Every athlete wants to have a gym at their home. To keep fit, you don’t need to buy a gym membership which may cost a handsome amount of money. A home gym is best for those who prefer exercising alone rather than being surrounded by others.
Exercising at home seems more amusing. No one looks at you, does not need to hurry or no one will impose their own pace to you. You don’t need to maintain schedule, you can exercise whenever you feel like.

Microsoft Surface RT Tablet Hanging Stand
This is an Windows RT Hanging Stand with optional keyboard hooks. The "Windows RT Hanging Stand" was originally designed for a treadmill but could probably be used of a lot of other things including attaching back of car seat for kids to watch movies in the car, or handing on a door.
The optional keyboard I used is an Anker Ultra Slim Mini Bluetooth 3.0 Wireless Keyboard for iPad Mini / iPad / Nexus 7 / Galaxy Tab and other Tablets (Works with Windows RT).
Download and print on your 3D printer.
