HCMC is very quiet for a city of 13 Million or so. Not the usual bustling place. Regulation 15 is still in place so alot of shops and restaurants are closed and traffic is quite light.
Trash accumulated in/by the Menomonee River by the N. Emmber Ln. bridge. This is right by this "keep Milwaukee beautiful" sign.

Am Morgen danach.
Nicht alle eleganten Highheels die am gestrigen Abend auf dem roten Teppich getragen wurden, hatten das Glück wieder in den heimischen Schuhschank zurückkehren. Diese Pumps wurden offenbar von ihrer Besitzerin im Laufe des Abends gegen ein Paar bequeme Schuhe getauscht und kurzerhand zurückgelassen. Bevor die eleganten Pumps der Straßenreinigung zum Opfer fallen habe ich sie mitgenommen.
Near my home, there is an industrial area with lots of facilities. It is a good idea to drive around, one or twice a week, and check the trash piles for tinkerable junk electronics, reusable shipping materials, and so on. This time I got the jackpot: a good condition and fully working home cinema speakers set !!! I still cannot believe it ! Quite happy !
