The top half of the doors into the ATMs were frosted to protect bankers from prying eyes. I liked that the bottom halves were left clear so it was still easy to see which terminals were occupied and which were available.

David and I went to Shanghai on Thursday July 16 with Panda to help her submit her second visa application. Yes, you guessed it, the first one got turned down. There seemed to be a concern she might decide not to go back to China.

This blue gel has a translucent texture. Light reflects through it, but the blue color darkens the light, creating a dark grey local value.
