On Saturday the crocuses in the courtyard of my boyfriend's apartment were in full bloom. (They closed their petals today, for the lack of sun light and cold temperature.) I had to assume the most inappropriate position to capture the light coming through the petals, for this crocus was less than a foot from two walls of the building.

The homeschooling group we are part of has a gym class once a month. Sandra took this picture of one of the children at the gym class It has not been touched up. Our antiquated camera does not do movement well but the effect is interesting.

The bright sunlight makes these tulips translucent. Seen south of Hillegom, May 1, 2016.
