This weekend (April 16/17) the tulips were at their best in the Bollenstreek area. Bright colors everywhere!

The Orlando airport has a glass wall that's been acid-etched with a scene of Florida plants and wildlife. It's quite gorgeous, but wasn't all that easy to photograph (when I took it with flash, the flash went right *through* the glass and failed to illuminate anything!)

I wish I had something clever to say about some metaphor, but I don't. I did want to play with the juxtaposition of the lightness and color of flowers versus the heaviness and opacity of ice and these are the first outcomes.
