A slightly different processing from me. I originally planned to not do any processing, then I wanted to do selective color on the flag, then I went with this. I guess it is desaturated selective color. This is one of those shots that's been done a lot, and I always tend to like it. The first time I saw it and it really grabbed my attention was a shot THE real Ryan Myers did. Then the first or second time I shot with Ward/Dustin he got a shot of a flag that I had struggled in vain to shoot for about ten minutes.
MSR & newly deboxed NP (with Simply Lilac scalp). Now they are pastel-haired sisters too. Both wearing Chuthings. Just had a hair wash here.

Inflorescencias de 5-8 cm; raquis grueso, anguloso. Pedicelo puberulento; bracteolas opuestas cerca de la mitad del pedicelo, caducas. Sépalos ovados, con base pubescente y margen ciliado. Pétalos 5, erectos, amarillentos, de ca. 3 x como la longitud de los sépalos, ápice obtuso: Estambres 5, erectos. Ovario ovoide, 2-3 loculado, glabro, con glándulas oleosas; óvulos 1 (2?) por lóculo; estilo corto; estigma pequeño. Fruto ovoide, de 8-10 mm de diámetro, rojo. Bosques perennifolios, por debajo de 2800 m. S Xizang (China), Bhutan, NE India, Birmania, Nepal. En Iturraran se encuentra en la zona 1.

Inflorescences 5-8 cm; rachis stout, angulate. Pedicel puberulent; bracteoles opposite near middle of pedicel, caducous. Sepals ovate, base pubescent, margin ciliate. Petals 5, yellowish, oblong, ca. 3 × as long as sepals, apex obtuse. Stamens 5, erect. Ovary ovoid, 2- or 3-loculed, glabrous, with oil glands; ovules 1(or ?2) per locule; style short; stigma small. Fruit ovoid, 8-10 mm in diam, red. Evergreen forests; below 2800 m. S Xizang (China), Bhutan, NE India, Myanmar, Nepal. In Iturraran is in zone 1.

These images are all about playing with translucency. The leaf has been placed on a piece of glass put between two tressles. A soft box is used to illuminate the leaf from below, with metering for the light, not the leaf.
I have had a lot of fun with these and will now try a few different scenarios.
