The grashopper (with one leg missing) visited our solar light. As it turned out the insect was exhausted due to the current drought. We provided some drops of water which it all sipped immediately.
The windows at Eglinton West station are frosted glass - well, I hope they are; I guess they might just be incredibly dirty - and I caught a glimpse of the plants outside that struck me as particularly haunting...
I re-carved Patty's lips and after giving her an MSC coat I realized there were some white marks crossing her lips.
I tried to sand them away, but then I realized they were internal so I'd have to sand too much, most probably altering her factions or even breaking her face.
I didn't do anything I wouldn't do usually, so I can't understand what happened,
I'm so thrilled about this. I've never felt comfortable customizing translucent blythes (I don't like the plastic quality), and after this, I think I'm done with them.

A park modeled on fashionable English gardens complete with faux ancient monuments, meandering paths and streams and a petite chateau. This painted roll was designed to be unfurled slowly in a purpose built box that was illuminated from behind to bring the scenes and its stories to life for an aristocratic French audience in the final years of the ancien regime.

Today, to practice for next week, we setup the tent booth and the new mesh hanging panels on our platform in our back yard here at Solair. It really works well!

Yale campus. An amazing building made to protect books from light while they illuminate readers inside. More here.
The head and body are entirely white, except the watery grey tentacles. The translucent body reveals few internal organs as most are also translucent white. Sometimes, the reddish brown jaw (1) is visible in the mouth. The mantle cavity, which functions as a lung for respiration, is sealed off from the exterior by a thick, white, membranous mantle-collar (2). The head has two short, semitransparent cephalic tentacles (3) ; nearly cylindrical with a swollen base and slightly swollen distal half and a hemispherical tip. The tentacles widely diverge from their bases. The distal half of the tentacles is watery grey, sometimes with a pinkish-brown tint (4), and probably contains sensory chemoreceptor cells.
