Some people are so unoriginal and have no class. Hence being translucent and predictable.
Those are the ones that you need to be prepared for.
I thought this song was quite uplifiting :) I heard it on a washer head commercial...
it's been really hectic over the past week plus...
I brought a stray i've been feeding to neuter, (some of you may know him, it's the little one-eyed kitty, Du Yan) and he's staying temporarily in my house now to recuperate from the operation, creating much confusion and high emotions among my other 4 cats. it's been really hard to try and take care of him and comforting all the rest that it's all right. i really hope they get along but they, including Du Yan, all seem so traumatised! :(((
Plus my school work is working its evil voodoo now, so i really don't have the luxury of doing my fav flickring...
AND my precious camera was sent to Olymous due to a broken USB connector..i got it back today BUT i just found out it doesn't even switch on now!! <:(
i'm going to send it to them again over the next few days..fortunately, there's still my trusty but never rusty phonecam here.. :)
I'm really sorry that i don't have the time to pop by to all my friends right now, and argh i know i'm missing out a lot! But I promised to myself i will definitely satisfy my flickr addiction and pay all my friends out there a thorough visit once my life returns to a more normal pace.. :D
Translucent jellyfish, taken at Vancouver Aquarium. The jellyfish tanks are set up with these great blue backgrounds that really bring out the detail in these creatures, they almost glow in the light. Quite stunning to see, a popular stop amongst the exhibits there.

On my walk around the neighbourhood to see what flowers were out ..August 23. 2013, Christchurch New Zealand
I used the Pentax SMC 6x7 165mm f/2.8 wide open on my K-01. The shallow depth of field and amazing sharpness where the lens is focused provides a feel that is quite addictive shen shooting this combo.
All these shots were taken at Vancouver's Amazing Aquarium Exhibit. I found it a real challenge to capture these images due to the very low lighting, in some cases subject movement, no tripod & my relatively slow 18-135mm lens.
Rain was pouring down the outside of this skylight in a building I was doing computer work in. I thought that the texture of the cracked window coating was quite interesting, especially with water flowing down it.

This is an example of Elizabeth Petcu's latest porcelain work. The Bray Institute of Further Education holds an end of year show which opens on the 24th of May this year (2011). All the faculties in the school will exhibit, not just Fine Art but also woodwork, fashion design, garden design, CAD design, interior design and so forth. It is an exciting time for all involved.
