A candy dish lid propped on a sunny window sill. The facets in the glass aren't accurate enough to transmit a clear image but they can catch color and shapes that give the glass a colorful appearance. Thanks to all who view, like and comment on this picture. HMM!

So butterfly-like that it's actually called Blue Butterfly... Clerodendrum ugandense.
The beauty of blue butterfly wings is seen year-round in this everblooming 4-8' tall shrub. The Blue Butterfly displays captivatingly beautiful panicles of French and marine blue flowers. Perfect in your butterfly garden or anywhere for your pleasure!
The Clerodendrum genus belongs to the broader Verbenaceae family of plants, which includes Duranta and Verbena. Clerodendrum ugandense is a warm-climate plant which hails from tropical East Africa. It grows best in sun (though will cope with part-shade), in reasonably fertile soil with adequate moisture. Like many warm-climate shrubs, it may look a bit untidy through winter, but it is best not to prune it until around the end of August. It grows fairly easily from cuttings taken in late summer and autumn.
Heads up... all parts of this plant are poisonous if ingested

I didn't see what I believe is this translucent butterfly, feeding on the stamen of this Trillium plant, but the lens did! I took this in our local Richfield County Park, at April's close, April 30.
