A number of transfers took place at the end of 2020 with various vehicles being exchanged between Arriva Southern Counties, Arriva Midlands and Arriva Yorkshire. This particular vehicle was transferred south from Wigston (Arriva Midlands) to Northfleet (Arriva Kent Thameside) in exchange for an Enviro 400 on Thursday 18th December 2020.

Whilst the majority of the transferred vehicles were Volvo B7s there were six Volvo B9s which have proved to have been rather troublesome with 6200 FJ08 LVL (Northfleet) and 6203 FJ08 LYT (Tunbridge Wells) being the first to enter service on Monday 19th April 2020 nearly fours months since their journey south!

The only one of the vehicles transferred to wear the new colours and on its first day in service, Arriva Kent Thameside 6200 FJ08 LVL is seen turning off of Valley Drive into Ifield Way, Singlewell whilst working route 490. Monday 19th April 2021.

Bosch

Bosch

It was born thanks to the impulse of the railroad, In February of 1892, the Doctor Juan Manuel Bosch gave a part of his fields in the party of Balcarce so that a railway station was built that allowed the transfer of loads and passengers. This station belonging to the Sud Railroad, is located between the stations Balcarce and Ramos Otero. Now it is a place with some 4 to 5 houses, some of them covered with rooms that are in front of the abandoned railway station. It is located 29 Kilometers from Balcarce, with a stretch of land accessed from Route No. 55. It is also accessed from Route No. 226, crossing the "Five Hills" and 18 km of land. Nearby was the quarry "Punta Tota", currently closed, where Gneis was extracted (used for the paving of the streets) and marble. This station had a general store in front of the station (now closed) and close to rural school No. 25 in operation and remodeling tasks

Pomona, CA

Pomona has the most abusive drivers I've seen in a long time haha. Only saw like 3 Pomona trucks at the TS and 2/3 came screaming down the street. Have to say, it was pretty awesome to see lol.

Fosters Townsend (FTRL) made a rare transfer move of 88 cars to storage from the Miller Yard (former Manufacturers near the AB Brewery) up to North St. Louis on the new FTRL operation (West Belt Railway) on the former TRRA West Belt. The TRRA Highline was used as a bridge between the two operations and a TRRA crew piloted the move.

Two Patriot Rail painted units - Piedmont Northern GP15 and Utah Central GP10 did the honors. They are shown chugging along the Highline above the construction at LaCledes Landing in downtown St. Louis. Definitely an odd couple of motors around the St. Louis area!

Thanks to Mark's heads up the short chase gave myself and the kids something to see on a sunny Saturday morning.

Seen (potentially) on its first day in use at Redditch after being transferred from Tividale, is one of Diamond's Enviro 300s. This Enviro was delivered before the change over to Alexander Dennis from Transbus Inernational, and it sadly doesn't carry a Transbus badge on the front.

Diamond's KX54 NKF (30491) is seen approaching Studley Road Island with a 58 Matchborough Circular back to Redditch Bus Station. The 57/58 operate up to every 8-10 minutes on each side of the circular. It is Redditch's most popular, and profitable route. KX54NKF was new in September 2004 to Q-Park & Fly, Manchester Airport. It spent a spell over at Gatwick Airport too (with AirParks), as well as Veolia Transport. Before coming to the Rotala PLC, it spent time with Premiere Travel, with sister NKE then going to theSussexBus, instead of coming to Rotala. It is a 11.8m Transbus International Enviro 300.

Deep down the river Guadalhorce.

Ribera Aqueduct Bridge or the Canal Viaduct, was created not only for crossing the river from one slope to another, but was also used by people who walked along El Caminito del Rey.

The aqueduct bridge transferred water along 35 m between two vertical walls (300 m tall).

Today, it is used for water transfer from one side to another through pumps or pipes.

Class 25/2 25166 was stood inside the old depot at Holyhead on June 1st 1979. The Sulzer Type 2 had been built at Derby Works and was new to traffic as D7516 in December 1964. It was renumbered to 25166 in January 1973 and was in service for almost 16 years, being withdrawn in November 1980. During the early 1970's the loco was transferred to the Western Region at Ebbw Junction and then Cardiff Canton, before returning back to the London Midland Region at Crewe in 1976. 25166 was put to the torch at Swindon Works in July 1981. The four-road former steam depot at Holyhead (6J) was closed in 1991 and replaced with a modern two-road structure.

Pomona, CA

Went to check out a route in Pomona and it turned out to be just down the street from Pomona Transfer (explains why I saw trucks from 4 different companies driving down the street lol). So after, I went by once the truck came, mainly to try and get a better look at this WCA McNeilus! I first spotted it in June but there was another truck blocking the way so I had no idea what chassis it was. Nothing blocking the way today so I'm glad I went by. This must be an acquisition truck that they sold off judging by all the red paint bleeding through. Pretty cool! Not sure what Valley Vista plans to do with it at the moment.
