Passing the Brahmaputra River on the Northern Friendship Highway, between Lhasa and Shigatse, Tibet.
Scandlers Creek in spring - full of dappled light and shade. A place of exquisite tranquility and quite possibly the most beautiful of walks in our district.
Found in Scandlers Creek, a tributary of the Maitai River near Nelson at the top of New Zealand's beautiful South Island.

Much of my photography is carried out in the colder months of the year and often in harsh conditions. However, the making of this image was the opposite of that. It was a balmy evening, with the rhythm of the tide gently gliding back and forth over the rocky shore. Perched on a rock overlooking all of this, I composed my image as the light faded into a mellow salmon-pink sunset.
Tranquility BF7 on the slipway at Buckie. Macduff Shipyards operate the slip here as well but this isn't as busy as the main yard. Built in Spain in 2001, the workman walking along bottom right gives a bit of scale to the size of these boats out of the water.

When Snow geese sleep it presents the most beautiful picture of tranquility! This was taken a Bosque Del Apache a couple weeks ago.

We took our neighbours with us to our favourite fish and chips place (Wharf Wraps) in Fisherman's Cove, and walked the boardwalk after supper and caught a lovely hazy sunset. (view of Halifax in the distance) Of course, they all walked on ahead cause I kept stopping. Did a bit of color adjust on this, obviously.
