Graduation Ceremony of CGMC Class 58-2016
PCG: 112 female trainees successfully graduated today, during their commencement exercise at Coast Guard Non-Officers' Basic Education and Training Center in Taguig City.
The graduation ceremony of Coast Guardsmans’ Course (CGMC) “Kidlat-Gilas” Class 58-2016 was graced by the Officer-in-Charge Philippine Coast Guard, COMMO JOEL S GARCIA PCG Ph.D., H.D., Al-Haj as its Keynote Speaker.
Furthermore, CGMC CL 58 has successfully completed their eight months and 15 days of rigid physical and academic training at said training facility in Taguig, City.
Said non-officers will be assigned to the different PCG units to implement its function and mandates as the prime maritime law enforcement agency.
Said ceremony was also attended by CAPT RUDYARD M SOMERA PCG MNSA, CESE, Deputy Commander of Coast Guard Education and Training Center and other senior and junior officers and non-officers of the PCG.

The 'girls'(!)from Aquafit, of which I am one, went to Escoffier, the college Training restaurant for lunch.
One of the dessert choices was traditional Christmas pudding, and here we see the tutor watching while the student does his first flambe in public.
Perhaps unfortunately from the photo-journalism point-of-view there was no real conflagration. It's only brandy after all, not rocket fuel.
