Finally! Took photos of these 3M traffic lights while we were going to Honea Path, SC to hear the siren (Sterling M-10)! But the siren didn't went off. These 3M traffic lights are located in Gantt, SC off of Augusta road and Pleasantburg drive.
*UPDATE 7/8/15*: This 3M has been replaced.

Flashing red signal at the main entrance to the Veteran's Hospital in Fayetteville. The signal dates back to the late 60's/early 70's (replacing a single pole signal), but has not worked in several years.
My quick take on the "Flickr Friday" theme Dogme95. It was very difficult not to do some post processing in Lightroom. It was very tempting to just increase the contrast a little, add some sharpening, some noise reduction, etc. I cheated a bit, I just had to crop a little. [Insert appropriate excuse here] :-)

Part of Sculpture By The Sea, Tamarama, which my sister was involved with this year (she's the graphic design and photographer). Proud of you sis :)
For those overseas who haven't heard of it, it's is Australia's largest outdoor sculpture display between Bondi and Tamarama beach. It attracts around a hundred thousand people each year.
One of the last 12-8-8 installations left in Arlington/Northern Virginia/Virginia. How this one survived is beyond me.
These were replaced in summer 2013
I have only just noticed this small set of traffic lights. They appear to be designed for cyclists. In France, all traffic lights have a small set like this for the first vehicle and not another set on the other side of the road as we do here. Dispensing with the lights on the other side of the road seems sensible to me.
