This is my spring capture of Lake Ellyn in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. Below are the winter and fall shots.
3 out of 4 seasons captured so far.
On June 21, I will take one more for the summer image. Kind of cool to see this in comparison.

Tracking Sea Turtles — Nesting green sea turtles are benefiting from marine protected areas by using habitats found within their boundaries, according to a USGS study that was the first to track the federally protected turtles in Dry Tortugas National Park.
Green turtles are endangered in Florida and threatened throughout the rest of their range, and the habits of green sea turtles after their forays to nest on beaches in the Southeast U.S. have long remained a mystery. Until this research, it was not clear whether the turtles made use of existing protected areas, and few details were available as to whether they were suited for supporting the green sea turtle’s survival.
USGS researchers tracked turtles with satellite tags and found they spent much of their time in protected sites within both Dry Tortugas National Park and the surrounding areas of the Florida Keys Marine National Sanctuary.

I sure am behind - here is my build from a couple of weeks ago. It was built for the MO on MP, and is a 1:1 scale four-sided version of the Motion Tracker from the film Aliens. It can also be held easily from the handle. The hardest parts were the buttons and the screen, it took a while to solve how to get spaces between the one, and the other kept falling out: as all cheese mosaics will. Please check out all the angles, and I hope you enjoy.
Update of set 894/452.
So many of the really early Classic Space sets were so much more grounded in near-future science than their later counterparts, and the Mobile Tracking Station certainly fits this vibe. At the time I remember thinking the set was a bit boring and ugly, being basically a grey box on wheels; these days its more realistic near-future vibe and clear, recogniseable purpose are part of the charm.
Seeing as I seem to be on an "updated rebuilds of old Classic Space sets" kick at the moment, I couldn't resist.

Made explore, March 17. Thanks Turtlegirl for letting me know :)
This was tracking on Bustimes as a Mickleover liveried E200 MMC, and although TrentBarton often like to put stuff that aren't coaches on the Red Arrow I was pretty certain that it was more likely to be them swapping ticket machines around than a real Mickleover.
Still, I had some free time and was curious to find out what it actually was - after all, it didn't necessarily have to be a normal Red Arrow, it could've been an interesting spare bus or something. Ultimately though, in a slightly disappointing but completely predictable outcome, it was a bog standard Red Arrow coach. Completely predictable, standard Red Arrow coach number 84 in fact, which I've seen a bunch of times before.
Despite this, it was absolutely not a wasted journey up to the A52, as I saw a few other interesting things while I was there - the most 'useful' being a new Arriva Hopper Bus to tick off and a different Red Arrow I'd somehow not photographed for five years.
