Heading east on the canal towpath somewhere between the Indianapolis Museum of Art and Butler University.
I took a walk down the towpath of the Trent & Mersey to see the autumn colours at my local National Trust property. I'll return on a similar day in a week or so to see how things have developed. Autumn is late this year. Hope you enjoy my walk!
The sun had gone behind clouds which were building in the short time I was in the public courtyard, so this time, the blue sky and interesting clouds had gone. This shot is looking across the diverted river on the estate and the island upon which sculpture is placed between the arboretum specimens. A few Canada geese can be seen. I didn't have time to go all along the path we see. Another time, when I'm not chasing the rain clouds [no raincoat or brolly with me, either!!]
