looking towards the heather clad Eildon Hills above Melrose in Scotand. The path is St Cuthberts Way, a long distance footpath that leads to Lindisfarne
Spent 3 days in this wonderful city before the roadtrip. Would like to go back just for the atmosphere of the place.
Haven't had a ramble in a while so, here it goes:
Hey! How you doing? You're looking especially fine tonight, you all. It's a cold Canadian night and everyone here has shown up like the red carpet awaits. Well, congrats! Job well done. Me, I threw on some jeans and a white t-shirt and said, "Hell man! I am NOT going out in that weather, no matter what!" But, of coarse, I did. And here I am, attired as mentioned, and here you are, splendid in all your finery, and I gotta ask, "Didn't you have anything better to do?" Ya, ya, sure! times are tough, money is tight, the government is robbing you of every nickel and shekel it can get its greedy, little paws on and the Super Bowl half-time show was a bit of a let down, well in my opinion anyways. I haven't seen (saw?) many Super Bowls in the past but, I don't think I've missed a half-time show since the 2000's began. Maybe it should have rained? Although, I think Mr. Timberlake might have scurried back into that tunnel when he saw the conditions and said, "Hell man! I am NOT going out in that weather, no matter what!"
(Cue the bossa nova music)
...and lastly, a man from Canada has broken the world's record for most boring words associated with a picture on Flickr. When asked for comment on his amazing feat he responded, "I always aim for the light... for the light."

Taking The Dale in Wirksworth brings you to Stoney Wood and the Star Disc. Here you can see Bole Hill and, if you look into the distance, you can just see my photo inspiration vanishing :-)
From what was once a world untouched had only now been truly discovered.
With a new year comes change which in some cases we see coming and other cases we don't - it's unexpected. Nonetheless, we have no choice but to adapt, move forward and cope with it as best we can.
Today we brought home our new puppy, Lucy. Losing both Max & Cinta in 2014 really hit home and our family hasn't felt the same since. I still wake up every day, expecting to see their beautiful faces when I go to open the back door. Whilst they can never, ever be replaced, I look forward to the next chapter with our new little family member.
This is also my last year of university. I cannot believe how fast it has gone. Even though I do complain about the workload and the time it takes up, I have this mindset that I'm not ready. Knowing that I'll be a certified teacher by the end of the year scares me - being an adult scares me.
I'm sure, like with any year, they'll be more changes that will come along - some positive....some negative. Even though we're all on different paths, change is a common familiarity amongst everyone and it's something we can't avoid. Although, with all that said, right now the weather is warm, I'm relaxed and enjoying spending time with my family. I'm off until March and I intend to make the most of it. I must say, it really feels good to be shooting again.
WS64 SM15WCO seen at Enfield, Willow Road working on route 456 towards Edmonton, North Middlesex Hospital.
The route 456 commenced operation on 2021.03.13 (after a couple of pushbacks i.e. originally starting 2020.10.17, then said 2021.02.06).
The route replaced the Monday-Saturday hourly route W10 from Crews Hill, Golf Ride to Enfield Town, Cecil Road. From there it is extended southbound to Edmonton, North Middlesex University Hospital serving Winchmore Hill as well as previously unserved areas such as Church Hill and Firs Lane.
It also gives Crews Hill area an all day service (except late evenings) as well as a Sunday service.
The tree is actually there, growing towards the tomb statue at almost 45 degrees. Shot at the French Cemetery in Mexico City.
