Port Isaac (Cornwall) used to be steeped as deeply in Christianity as its houses were in the rock face. The tide has run out. Port Isaac has acquired some recent fame for being the place where the TV series "Doc Martin" was shot. It has become a tourist attraction. There is a small art scene, however, and it is still an idyllic place - in low or high tide.
The Highlands in Scotland, Isle of Skye.I made this picture when we drove back to our B&B after visiting Neist Point. The scenery was spectacular, with very dramatic clouds and nice colours and tones.

flying from palma de mallorca to paris, this moment of quiet contemplation in the air felt timeless. a child’s foot gently pressed against the airplane window as if reaching out to touch the sky. the soft natural light illuminating the smooth curves of the cabin added to the serenity of the moment. it's a reminder that even in the most ordinary moments, beauty and wonder can be found when we pause to notice the little things.
