The Prodent toothpaste-factory, also known as the Erdalfactory will be closed down before the end of the year. I had the opportunity to take some pictures while it's still in operation.

The building is on the list of cultural heritage.

Het complex, ook bekend onder de naam Erdalfabriek en ontworpen door architect F.A. Warners, is een van de laatste fabrieksterreinen in het Eemkwartier uit de jaren dertig. Het is monumentaal gezien interessant vanwege de gaafheid van het complex en de architectonische samenhang van de afzonderlijke onderdelen. Daarnaast is het een kenmerkend voorbeeld van de fabrieksbouw uit de jaren dertig in Nedeland. Opvallende onderdelen van het gebouw zijn het laboratorium met toren en het ketelhuis met schoorsteen.
