Toothpaste is the substance that we use to protect our teeth from invading bacteria. The active ingredient in toothpaste is sodium fluoride (NaF). The fluoride serves as a barrier against bacteria by reducing the enamel's solubility in an acid, and the plaque's ability to produce acid, and is also common in our saliva and the surface of our teeth naturally.
So today I went to the grocery store to buy toothpaste, and saw that easter candy was half off, so of course I had to buy some chocolate. And then when I was at the register I laughed at my purchases (pictured above), so I decided that that would be the best picture of the day. I took some others of my friends having a potluck, but didn't really like any.
