Today Heather came round to visit so I could give her her leaving present, the same book as I gave Sophie for her birthday. So we've said goodbye a good few times now, but today most definitely is the last time I'll see her, but strangely wasn't as sad as the last time.
Then we went up to Inverness and did a bit of shopping. All I wanted was blusher of some kind, and decided that I'd go to debenhams rather than boots as the staff in there tend to be nicer (and not so orange!). I'd decided I was going to go to the Benefit counter and ask there.
Normally when you walk through the make up bit in debenhams you get accosted from all sides by people asking if they can help you. Today, no one. Not a single member of staff in the whole make up section, never mind on the benefit section! Very odd. So we left and went for lunch.
After lunch we went back to debenhams as I wasn't giving up, and this time a very helpful girl was at Benefit and recommended Posie Tint, so I took her advice, and I'm sure my photos from the next few days will tell if it's working or not!
Somehow, somewhere on the train back from Inverness I managed to develop a cold, so I got home and decided, brush my teeth, and go to bed ridiculously early to try ward off a fully blown cold!
