Be sure to cap your toothpaste, not your toothbrush. Covering the brush can trap moisture and encourage bacteria growth.

The kid's got a lot of personality and wanted to let it show in his promos so he came to me with a bunch of ideas and we went nuts for an afternoon.
Last night I ran out of toothpaste. So this morning I called the front desk of the hotel to bring me some. Housekeeping came to my room and gave me a dental kit and in it was the smallest tube of toothpaste I've ever seen in my life. I first took a photo of the front of this tube, but then I discovered on the back this wonderful message "Toothpaste for: Strong teeth and fresh breath" Out of anger of how small the tube was I put the entire contents on my toothbrush. As soon as I put the toothbrush in my mouth I knew it was too much paste. Just too much. I looked like an insane rabid dog (or like Pee Wee in the intro to 'Pee Wee's Big Adventure). I'm pretty sure that toothpaste didn't strengthen my teeth and I know it didn't freshen my breath.
A friend, who had a tendency to leave the lid open, had been using my toothpaste while visiting. When I squeezed the tube next a big splodge came out and as I looked at it I realised I was looking at a 'toothpaste man'. Perfect for 'hidden faces', even if a bit late.

Toothpaste makes a very good composition for Macro photography, it has many twirls and stripes that add flavour to the image.
A comic strip based on the cartoon series Strawberry Shortcake, poking fun at the Chinese toothpaste incident...
My boys never cease to amaze me....I found the toothpaste this morning like this. So I am assuming they did this last night??
....You'd think they wouldn't do shit like this...at ages 9 & 12....but I guess I'm wrong again!
I came home from work to find my son blissed out on the bed, sucking down the last of a tube of toothpaste.
I think we need to have an intervention.
On 4 February 1999, the flank of the Southeast Crater at the summit of Mount Etna ruptured, during the last in a series of more than 20 paroxysms that had started on 15 September 1998. A spectacular fracture ripped from the summit to the base on the southeast flank of the Southeast Crater cone, and at the lower end of the fracture, lava began to flow out. This marked the beginning of a 9-months-long eruption from that site, which quietly emitted lava from shifting vents, most of the time without explosive activity. The lava rapidly formed tubes, and often the only visible lava was that which came out at the end of a tube, in what volcanologists call "ephemeral vents". Here is one such ephemeral vent, located about 1 km downslope of the actual eruptive vent near the Southeast Crater. This is on a steep slope on the western side of the Valle del Bove, a huge depression in the east side of Etna, of which a part can be seen in the background. Through this ephemeral vent, lava is squeezed out like toothpaste. About 30 minutes after I took this picture, a sudden increase in lava supply through the tube feeding this vent caused a dramatic collapse of the whole area visible in this photograph, and the opening of a new, much larger ephemeral vent. Regular Toothpaste:
Regular kinds of toothpaste are fluoride-rich and provide protection from germs on daily basis. Fluoride content in toothpaste prevents cavities in teeth. It also helps strengthen weak spots and exposed roots. It is advised to use such toothpaste regularly to prevent the early stages of tooth decay. Some regular toothpaste also comes with added ingredients which provide a refreshing breath and long lasting freshness.

While regular toothpaste comes with just rich fluoride content, Ayurvedic Toothpaste comes with ayurvedic ingredients such as Dasanakanthi Choornam, Miswak, Vajradanti and clove. Dasanakanthi Choornam has powerful antibacterial quality, relieves toothache and gives refreshing breath. It is very helpful in the treatment of bleeding gums and cavities. Miswak rich toothpaste is known to prevent gingivitis and bad breath. They are also known to strengthen gums and discourage addiction. Vajradanti is described in the ancient Ayurvedic literature to make teeth strong.
Herbal Toothpaste:
Certain toothpaste contains herbal ingredient such as Neem, Aloe Vera, Black seed, Clove, etc. Such toothpastes are categorized as herbal toothpaste and provide herbal power to fight against various dental problems. The antibacterial properties of Neem help to prevent and reverse gingivitis, stopping both the blood and puss discharges that occur with the severe gingival disease. Aloe Vera tooth gel is more effective in controlling bacteria that causes cavities than other commercially available toothpaste. Black Seed and Clove also acts as antibacterial substances. Additional to bacterial protection, these herbal contents ensure healthy gums and teeth and give a long-lasting freshness. These unique features of Herbal Toothpaste have led to a rise in demand. In the competitive market, like that of India, leading brands are already competing tough to make their herbal products superior.
Toothpaste for Sensitive Teeth:
Tooth sensitivity, also known as dentin hypersensitivity, has become really common today. It is estimated that more than half of the population suffers from sensitive tooth at least once in a lifetime. If hot, cold, sweet or very acidic foods and drinks, or breathing in cold air, makes your teeth or a tooth sensitive or painful then you have sensitive teeth. Use of regular toothpaste can make the condition worse, hence it is recommended that one with sensitive tooth must use toothpaste designed for such conditions. Sensitive Teeth Toothpaste are specially designed for sensitive tooth; they help treat sensitive tooth by reducing pain and repair the enamel damage. Use of such toothpaste twice a day is advised that. This will help reduce improve the dental condition and remove sensitivity from teeth.
Custom Toothpaste:
There are dental conditions that cannot be dealt with using regular toothpaste like that of grit tooth or stains due to smoking. To treat such conditions, toothpaste is specially designed so that they free from Parabens, artificial sugars and added fluoride. Presence of these ingredients will only make the condition worse, for example, sugar can add to the rate of decay of tooth. Combination of stain remover and extra strong mint breathe fresheners gives white teeth and removes foul breathe. Certain toothpaste is added with baking soda. Baking soda, being alkaline, neutralizes excess acid in the mouth and hence deals with gritting problem.
