Tools: Pentax ME Super, Asahi 50mm f1.7, Fujicolor 200. Process and scan by Exposure Film Lab. I use Flickr as my cloud storage, so I upload everything here: I have a decade worth of photos, check out my albums!
I made a Ko-Fi page because I saw other people doing it. I don't expect anything to actually come of it, but on the off chance that you would be so kind as to treat me to a coffee to help me put more of my money towards film and bribing my models with snacks, it'd be hugely appreciated.

Here's a spoon that I started making about 2 weeks ago from a fallen beech branch. The wood was dry, and spalted. I roughed it out in an evening in the woods, and have done the rest sporadically in evenings after work, often no more than a few minutes a day.
This is the first time that I have left a spoon with what is called a tooled finish, i.e. unsanded, just with the finish from the carving knives. I'm not very good at that yet, and my knives could really do with being a lot sharper, but the back of the spoon is quite reasonable. I'm learning.
Overall, whilst it could be better in lots of ways, I am happy with this one.
Though they could be mistaken for 18th century doctors' tools, some were put to good use in a fun evening of glassblowing at FLO in Ottawa's Little Italy.

These were not posed by me. Perhaps someone else did, but I like to think these were how someone left them when Knight Foundry closed in the mid 1980s after more than 100 years of operation.
Note the initials engraved into the compass and the caliper. Someone treasured that bit of technology.

This still life will be presented at a workshop that I am fascinating in a few weeks. I hope it meets certain expectations for the viewers and those participating in the workshop, It took fifty shots to get the one I like (and I still not certain that I am completely satisfied with it). Well that is the life of the photographer.
Thank you for your honest comments. I have grown by them
Shooting Tool is harder than it looks. 1 song, 15 ft tall stage, completely backlit, Maynard hangs out at the far back of the stage, mostly obscured. Then sometimes you get lucky and he moves the mic out of the way.
for a 50th birthday, brief was for the family's own "Tim the Tool man" who also is a mechanic for United airlines, hence the mini plane
I discovered these tools engraved in the sidewalk while strolling on King George Street in Tel Aviv.
I wonder what's the story behind ...
