Got the opportunity to take some pictures of these tools that belonged to a gentleman who had no formal training but he did have a gift of being able to repair almost anything. Always interesting to see what tools other people have used - these were probably last used in the late 80s??

Macro Mondays:Tools and Utensils. These tools are from my wife's Lexus. I've never known a Lexus owner ever to use the tools that come with the car.
One of my work benches in my tool room. You can see here a rolling mill on the right, a mini lathe in the middle and a plating unit on the left.
I know the shelf is really messy. I am always swapping tools around. There is a drill press, a small enamel kiln, a mini slip roll (for making cylinders)
Some of the power tools I keep in my work trialer including a Super Sawzall, 2 Super Hole Hawgs a cordless set and a inspection scope
When my wife and I were visiting her brother's family, in Iowa, my sister-in-law took us on a tour of the Living History Farms, near Des Moines, Iowa. We got to take a tour of the three or four farms on the extensive property. The first farm we came to was representative of the first farms in the area. It was very primitive but had beautiful surroundings. As we walked through the other farms, they became progressively more modern. The experience was most enjoyable.
The tools pictured here were hanging on a wall in a barn. I think the farm was representative of the early 1900s.

Last night tool performed at nationwide arena. It was as expected... amaizing. They make churning, grinding, nod your head music that you can feel... i don't know how they get so much clear deep bass. They know how to put on a good show.
We had to make sure that we had all the right tools for the job. There is nothing wrong with being too prepared.
