If you've ever seen the dirt flying when a Badger is digging a den or after some underground prey, now you know what they use to get the job done.
Sometimes I see potential in a photo for these effects. Sometimes I just go willy nilly and see what happens. Sometimes I just put the photo in the trash and start over.
This is done using a layer mask and blur effect in Photoshop Elements.

this is the tip of my favorite whisk, about 2 inches, with its shadow, one of the most used kitchen tools in our house.

A setting looking to the southwest while taking in views across Convict Lake to nearby mountains of the Mammoth Area ranges. This is on the Lakeshore Trail in Inyo National Forest. while there was definitely quite a bit of wildfire haze and smoke present that afternoon, I attempted to best compose what was visible for an image captured with some nearby trees, the reflections off the lake waters, and then the mountains. I later worked with ClearView Plus tool before using control points in DxO PhotoLab 5 to make some adjustments and bring out the contrast, saturation and brightness I wanted for the final image.

In this area many moons ago, the Moa roamed freely. A flightless native bird of New Zealand now extinct, standing over 3 metres tall. The Moa were a great food source for the indigenous Maori and Moriori people of New Zealand and their bones were used for tools.

On this old photo, of one of my ancesters, you can see vintage crochet hooks. They come in a wooden tube.
I know that she did a lot of needlework and was really good at it.

The aroma of chocolate comes out of many shops when walking the streets of Brugge.
TOOLS: It is now trendy to buy these tools, everything for the DIY-er: IN CHOCOLATE.
Looking like rusted tools.
But there you go.
Gimmicky, fun, personally I am not overly keen on it.
Belgian chocolate is renowned, it is quality and tasty, more cacao and less fat.
Good for the skin, did you know?
A bit of dark chocolate every day!
