I attended an open house at an artist's loft in Amesbury, MA on Saturday afternoon. Sometimes the artist's tools are as interesting as their artwork.
Our Daily Challenge for November 15, 2014 is: TOOLS
Angle iron from an old bed frame, cut to size, points added, handles bolted on. square ends left exposed so they can be driven by a hammer.

My favorite sewing machine tool. An Irwin 9 in 1 screwdriver with two straight blades, two philips blades, two roberson blades and three socket sizes, all in one handle. Got this lovely tool at Lowes.

Loc-line modular snap-together hose, used for making strong flexible water-and-oil-tight low-pressure lubrication systems. Also useful for industrial-grade third hand vises.
The tool at center is a clamp used for sharpening chisels. I have no idea what it is called but it works well.
Taken on one of those grey, uninspiring days in the back of our garage.

Here's a stupidly simple tool that can be made out of an old spoke or some coat hanger wire. It holds the derailleur tension on the chain while you attach the ends or take links out.

とにかく硬化が早くて（4~5分くらい？）、かちんかちんなのが特徴。表面に使うのは気が引けても、裏打ちとかポリの埋め込み固定など、見えないところに使うには十分。
In costume history re-enactor at Fort Marion in St. Augustine, FL. This guy was tooling leather to make soldier's kit using the same techniques the original colonial soldiers would have used. By the by, he was also a 30 year retired Army warrant officer throughly enjoying his retirement!
