Original purpose: Illinois Railroad Metalwork
Intermidiate purpose: Illinois Farm tooling.
Current purpose: Metalsmithing and Jewelry making.
Material: Cast Steel top with iron base.
Since I have lived in apartments my entire adult life, I didn't have any tools at all. So I went down to the hardware store and got some basics.
I really wanted one to store my jewellery making tools. I wanted it now, but since I am pretty much penniless every day, I had to either (a) go into debt, or (b) make it myself, even though I always think I am too lazy.
The worst part, for me, is always the measuring and cutting of fabric.

My fake tool cover for the 2008 spring catalog for Acme Tools. All the tools (hammer, paint roller, paint brush, screw driver and, power drill) are all made from various letters and other pieces of type (parenthesis ect.)

WIT: I used one strobe in back, one camera left at forty five degrees camera left for key, and one camera right forty five degrees for fill.

I have managed to make an orb tool but the lights were so faint it almost wasn't worth bothering.
The circuit comprised of 8 2.2v led's connected to 2*9v batteries. I was pleased with the construction but the lights were so damn dim it wasn't worth the bother (and it took a while for an electronics fool like me!). No resistor was necessary (I think?) due to the led's in the circuit.

Presumably I need brighter lights? However, I am already running against 18V - how do increase brightness without increasing this?

Box on the left is a light stencil.
2nd from the left are 2 Cold Cathodes that are powerd by a 9 Volt Battery (As you usually carry a backpack or something similar i found the battery pack to be quite useful as it can supply many tools for a really long time and the voltage does not break in when more lights are attached)
3rd from the left is a stick kind of thing with a White LED ribon on the bottom and a red one on the Top
Lower right hand corner are two 6 Volt Lead Batteries glued together supplying The LED rod and the blue thingy
4th Is a piece of wood i glued a blue LED strip onto and Connected it to the battery by a cable with a on of switch. (Works really well for Orbs)
