I hardly saw any bands at Shambala. Most of them were far too funky for me. This was The Demon Barbers, who were a bit too folky.
This is your basic ground squirrel, doing what squirrels do. From their antics out in open ground, there must not be much of an aerial predator presence here. I have seen only one hawk all month.
We stayed in what had been a tiny cottage that that belonged to poor fisherfolk. These were on the wall, probably having been treasured once
Tokens from during our L5R days. We used these ornamental stones as counters for our L5R games. In my case, they're used mostly as Farmland tokens. While starter boxes of L5R cards usually came with plain, colored glass counters, I insisted on buying some separately, because these are so much prettier than the ones packaged with the starter sets.
