Day 2 - San Francisco - Come and ride the carousel. Eat a churro. Buy tokens. Ride the 3D and 4D rides. Buy trinkets and T-shirts advertising to the world back home that yes indeed, you did actually visit San Francisco and reveled in the gift shops of Pier 39.
Everyone else seems to be having fun. I'm glad I'm taking photos, it's keeping me from feeling icky.

Bill was the only one of the Pedals & Pints crew to wear even a token costume on our Halloween night ride.
And he was willing to demo for my first attempt using my remote flash.
for my photography exam unit i wanted to do something with funfairs/arcades that sorta things. this is one of the photos from my first shoot.
This is the one and only sidewalk at the main entrance to the shopping center, yet it can comfortably acommodate only single-file pedestrians. Two people walking side-by-side will brush against the landscaping. There is room for a planted median between vehicle lanes (at far left), but apparently no room for a wider sidewalk, or even ANY sidwalk on the other side of the entrance. [DSC04797]
This is a Civil War Token. Since it identifies a specific merchant, it is called a 'store card.'
All Civil War Tokens were privately struck. None were produced by the U.S. Mint, but Civil War Tokens were legal until the Coinage Act of 1864.
